Conduct maritime intelligence analysis, primarily for the Coast Guard, Navy, and Joint community. Research, review, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of maritime intelligence. Prepare analytical reports, briefs, databases, studies, advisories, estimates, and evaluations. Identify information gaps and develop collection requirements, analytical tools, and methodologies. Work on topics, including counter-terrorism, piracy, threats to shipping, network nodes, and counter-proliferation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience as a Coast Guard intelligence officer
-Experience with Coast Guard operational expertise, including surface operations, maritime law enforcement, ports waterways, and coastal security
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with working in a Joint service environment
-Experience as a training instructor
-Experience with designing and conducting exercises and wargames
-MA or MS degree in Strategic Intelligence

Provide intelligence analysis and support to small teams and assess business and mission challenges. Develop analytical and operational solutions with enough detail and specifics to allow client approval and implementation. Conduct interviews and research and analyze information related to client challenges. Use inductive approaches to develop recommendations and develop new operating models. Support the completion of client deliverables and project activities. Apply appropriate methods and leverage internal firm resources to bring optimum solutions to clients. Execute project work plans in the field, maintain flexibility to work on a variety of assignments of varying lengths, and assist with business development. This position is based in McLean, VA.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
-7+ years of experience as a naval intelligence officer or the civilian equivalent
-Experience across a wide range of assignments within Navy Intelligence
-Experience with national-, tactical-, and operational-level intelligence supporting Joint, naval, maritime, and ISR senior staff customers
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of the organizational dynamics within the ONI, National Maritime Intelligence Center, or OPNAV N2 staff
-Knowledge of the US intelligence community and DoD policy and operations
-Ability to perform complex work assignments independently
-MA or MS degree preferred

Undersea Surveillance Systems Operations Analyst

Job Description:
Conduct system evaluation efforts for the ICP and IUSS Systems. Evaluation efforts will be performed through detailed acoustic analysis of at-sea testing and deployment data. Provide feedback to sponsors and Fleet users of at-sea testing and real world deployment data.

Duties:
Conduct in-depth LOFAR analysis of exercise data sets originating from a broad breadth of acoustic sensors in support of Navy sponsored programs. Conduct detailed acoustic analyses and event reconstruction of tactical sensor employment exercises and tests.

Work with Maritime Surveillance Systems, developing analytic capabilities associated with SURTASS vessels.

Maintain strong skills in the employment and operations of Integrated Undersea Surveillance Systems and Surface Combatant Sonar systems to provide direct support during at sea exercises.

Assist in planning data collection opportunities. Assist in the preparation of detailed briefings of results to program managers, sponsors and operational users.

Support field installations of analysis equipment in laboratories and/or on board Fleet assets.

Qualifications:

Required:
Possess extensive background in LOFAR and Pulse Analysis, Data Collection, operations, event reconstruction and training associated with the detailed operational employment of Maritime Surveillance SONAR systems and/or Surface Warfare SONAR systems. Possess a detailed knowledge in Sonar signal processing and system employment. Possess strong communication, writing and presentation skills.

Desired:
Previous experience with SURTASS/IUSS/MSS systems. Possess NEC 0416 (ACINT Specialist) qualification and be Surface Warfare designated. Candidate should be willing and physically able to support at Sea Test and Evaluation.

Special Work Conditions:
Travel to include meetings (typically less than 3 days per month). System field testing to system integrator site, and/or at-sea testing.

Targeting Analyst: The all-source Maritime Targeting analysts utilize all-sources of intelligence data, law enforcement information, public records, and open source information to conduct link analyses of networks of people, companies, and ships that may be engaged in illicit activity or pose a threat to the U.S. The maritime targeting analyst positions are divided into 3 sub-specialties: counter drug targeting, counter migrant targeting, and counter terrorism targeting. Deliverables: Social network analyses: All analysts in these positions will be required to produce at a minimum of 2 social network analyses up to the (TS/SCI level) per quarter. Intelligence Information Reports: All analysts in these positions are expected to produce a minimum of 12 IIR, SDR, or FIR evaluations per year.

Qualifications needed to perform well in this position:

• Microsoft Office expertise
• Superior writing skills
