Antiterrorism / Force Protection Instructor
Description
Engineering Services employs approximately 350 people and is a department under L-3 Communications Services Group. ESD is a defense contractor that provides a full range of communication systems support, engineering services, information technology services, teaching and training services, as well as intelligence support and analysis services.
We are seeking an Antiterrorism/Force Protection Instructor. Knowledge of the overall US Navy Antiterrorism Program to include:
-Duties and Responsibilites of the Naval Security Force Officer
-skills necessary to manage Security Force assests
-Unit level tactics, techniques and procedures in a law enforcement environment
-Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) procedures (Compliant and Non-Compliant Low Freeboard)
-Identifciation and Management of Threats and Hazards in a Maritime environment
-Evidence and Intelligence Information Collection and Documentation
-Boarding Team Decontamination Procedures
-Management of Emergency Medical Incidents and Boarding Team Decontamination procedures
-Pre-boarding procedures to include vessel queries and threat profiles
Minimum Education and Experience Required
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in Antiterrorism/Counter-terrorism program management Documented experience in Maritime Interdiction Operations, preferably as a VBSS Boarding Officer. A minimum of FOUR years of practical experience in the area of navy Security Force leadership or navy Antiterrorism program management (or COMPARABLE Federal Government Program management experience). Basic knowledge of Security Force Training and Readiness, Antiterrorism Planning, law enforcement and security operations. A minimum of ONE-year experience as a qualfied primary classroom instructor providing training.

Current Basic First Aid Certification

The duties of this position require a SECRET clearance. Selected candidates are required either to already have a SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
