Maritime Intelligence Analyst

Description

The Maritime Intelligence Analyst duties will include: database entry, extraction, modification, and quality assurance concerning foreign maritime systems. The emphasis will be on quality assurance and supervision of other analysts on the task.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

All applicants must possess a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation to be considered for employment. Proven research and analysis abilities either from prior military or civilian experience. Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, demanding environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, including as a successful team supervisor. Must be detail-oriented and persistent in obtaining and comparing foreign maritime systems data from commercial, military, and government organizations. Understanding of the United States Intelligence Community missions. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally using proper English grammar and stylistic conventions. Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Strong writing and analytic skills are required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences or related field and/or equivalent formal military training and 4+ years related experience. Will substitute primary job skill specific experience for education requirement on a basis of two years experience for every one year of education required above the high school level. Training: Service Intelligence Analysis basic school or its equivalent desired.
